New York, March 10, 2026 — Residence, the global network of creative companies, today announced that Julian McBride has joined as its first Head of Communications. In this role, McBride will lead Residence's internal and external communications, working across its roster of creative companies that include Acronym (formerly VTProDesign), BUCK, Creative Lives In Progress, Giant Ant, It's Nice That, OK Cool, Part & Sum, and Wild. McBride will partner with the company's leadership to amplify a new home for creativity.

Julian McBride, Head of Communications at Residence
McBride brings more than 15 years of communications leadership experience spanning technology, innovation, and the creative industries. Most recently, he served as Global Media Relations & Communications Lead for Strategic Initiatives at Accenture, aligning firmwide storytelling with enterprise priorities. Leading up to that, he advanced into a broader leadership role as Global Media Relations & Communications Lead at Accenture Song, the company's creative services arm, elevating visibility, thought leadership, and market positioning. Before Accenture, he served as Head of PR & Communications at Droga5, where he helped build the agency's reputation and guide it through its landmark acquisition by Accenture. His earlier career included communications roles at Wolff Olins and Digitas.
"I've spent my career inside some of the most respected creative organizations in the world,” said McBride. “What made Residence different was clear: the leadership, the companies, and a model that's reimagining what a new home for creativity can be. This felt like a moment I didn't want to miss."
”Residence is becoming something bigger than any single company, it's a network, a point of view, a way of working,” said Orion Tait, Co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer, Residence. “Julian understands both the creative industry and what it takes to strategically communicate our story at scale. He's the right person to help us articulate what we're actually building.”
“Julian has an incredible track record and a really unique journey. Everything he does reflects a deep commitment to collaboration, inclusion, and meaningful business impact. I’m genuinely thrilled to have him join our leadership team and help shape what comes next for Residence.”
