Residence Earns Rare Distinction: B Corp Certification Across All Nine Companies in Its Network

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 21, 2026 — Residence, a global network of creative companies, today announced it has achieved B Corp Certification, with every company in its network earning the designation.

Certified B Corporations are for-profit companies independently verified by B Lab to meet high standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency.

All of the companies in Residence completed the assessment on their own operations. The assessment was a multi-year process and covered every part of every company in Residence, from salaries and benefits to client rosters, office energy use, and how each company approaches sustainability. The growing network of companies in Residence now includes: ACRONYM, BUCK, Creative Lives in Progress, GateMaker, Giant Ant, It's Nice That, OK COOL, Part and Sum, and wild.

"We're proud of this in a way that's hard to overstate," said Madison Wharton, Chief Operating Officer of Residence. "As we like to say, ‘Less talk, more rock.’ So we wanted to solidify what we've always stated as important values to us. That how we operate matters, that we're committed to doing great work the right way, by safeguarding our people, the creative community at large, and the planet. That's what our clients get when they work with us, and it's what our talent gets by trusting us with their careers."

B Lab's certification process requires companies to meet defined performance requirements across seven impact topics: Purpose and Stakeholder Governance; Climate Action; Human Rights; Fair Work; Justice; Equity, Diversity and Inclusion; Environmental Stewardship and Circularity; and Government Affairs and Collective Action. For the assessment, each company in Residence answered approximately 150 questions and provided detailed documentation for every response for independent verification.

"It's a genuinely impressive and uncommon achievement to see nine independent companies pursue B Corp Certification together," said João Campos, B Lab Growth Manager. "That's exactly the kind of collective commitment that excites us and it's a laudable step for the creative industry."

BUCK, the largest company in the Residence network, achieved B Corp Certification in 2024. In 2025, Residence committed to emissions-reduction targets aligned with the Science Based Targets initiative. Over the years, Residence has partnered with purpose-driven clients including nonprofits, government agencies, other B Corps, women-owned and underrepresented-led businesses to advance social good at scale.
