Biography
Orion Tait is Co-Founder and Creative Chair of Residence, the global network of independent creative companies, and Co-Founder of BUCK. As Creative Chair, he holds the long-term creative vision of the network, stewarding the values, culture and principles that define its work and community.
A filmmaker, fine artist and graphic designer by training, his career has been defined by pushing the boundaries of visual storytelling across animation, visual effects, and live action. His award-winning work spans advertising, broadcast, film and entertainment — rooted in the conviction that the best creative work comes from people who care deeply about craft and push each other to go further.
In addition to his network role, Orion continues to shepherd BUCK's IP initiatives, including BUCK Games and original animation development.
His trophy case includes two Emmys, multiple gold Cannes Lions, Clios, pencils, cubes, and over 150 awards from the most prestigious competitions in the world.
He has lectured at schools and festivals globally and served as a juror and chair at the One Show, AICP, Clios and the Art Directors Club.
