Biography
Madison Wharton is the Chief Operating Officer at Residence. She stewards the network's shared values through critical business decisions, from acquisitions to integrations to the everyday calls that shape how nine companies work together. Madison formerly served as COO of BUCK and brings over two decades of experience in the advertising and creative industry.
Madison has held leadership roles throughout her career, including co-leading the merger of KBS with Forsman & Bodenfors and serving as the first Chief Production Officer at DDB. During her tenure as head of production at The Barbarian Group, the team won the inaugural Innovation Cannes Grand Prix for developing Cinder, an open-source programming language that benefited both the agency and the creative industry at large. Her production portfolio has been recognized at Cannes Lions, D&AD, and others, and she has served on juries for Cannes Lions, Communication Arts, and AICP.
Beyond her work at Residence, Madison serves on the Coalition to Cure CHD2 board as communications chair, supporting research and families affected by the rare genetic condition. She also led Residence's B Corp certification. As a wife and mother, she was recognized as the She Runs It Advertising Working Mother of the Year.
